Be Kind to Yourself
Talk to yourself as you do to loved ones. For example, you would never say to someone you cared about “How stupid are you?! I can’t believe you forgot your keys to the apartment again!” or “Wow you look like a whale today, shouldn’t have eaten that pizza last night!”… Yet, we so easily whisper those hurtful phrases or worse to ourselves. Be patient and understanding with yourself, especially through the hard times in life.
