“Alisa suggested I read a book by Deepak Chopra about happiness, since I was struggling with finding happiness with myself or others. I had the book read in 2 days and asked her for more suggestions, which she said Daring Greatly by Brené Brown. After that I was hooked and found the next book in that 3 book series by Brené Brown and became so aware of vulnerability and its importance. I started to make amends and forgiving people and situations that were in the past. When I would feel in a rut where I couldn’t get past a certain emotion that was irrational, I would talk to Alisa and she would help me become aware of what I was really feeling and acknowledge it.”
